Kurt Eichenwald, who calls himself a contributing editor for Vanity Fair, says he plans to attack pro-Second Amendment Parkland shooting survivor Kyle Kashuv in an upcoming article.

Eichenwald plans to reveal a vast conspiracy against him by the conservative press, which he believes is spearheaded by the 16-year-old.

Eichenwald’s unhinged announcement comes just days after he became the subject of a viral video documentary detailing his decade-long transition into a living meme.

The beleaguered former New York Times journalist sent a series of emails to an establishment Republican commentator, revealing his plans to write about his baseless conspiracy theory alleging that the 16-year-old Kashuv has been coordinating with conservative journalists in the media to take him down.

“He has been actively working to trick journalists he believes work for non-Fox television networks into taking any action in something in which his twitter account was linked,” wrote Eichenwald in a rambling email about Kashuv’s supposed ties to conservative journalists.

“He has been coordinating with some of the trolls involved with these people,” added Eichenwald. “He in fact coordinated with the other guy with the podcast who was demanding my respect. He used the same trick on me as the other guy, which was unprovoked. (He used this garbage pushed by conservative media and leftists that I am a fan of tentacle porn.)”

Eichenwald’s “other guy” refers to outspoken teenage conservative C.J. Pearson, whom he had mistaken Kashuv for earlier this week following a previous Twitter meltdown.

“He did something similar with Joan Walsh – getting wrapped up in twitter combat with a Parkland parent whose child died,” continued Eichenwald. “Walsh followed the parent, and when he responded, she liked his tweet. Just like me, Joan apparently had no idea who Kyle was or even that his name was attached to the email.”

much more at link.

Eichenwald is trending on twitter right now, because he sent an insane rant to Ben Shapiro who promptly released it.  In the aftermath it looks like Eichenwald is no longer with Vanity Fair.

Kurt Eichenwald @kurteichenwald

Hell of a way to find out. I have been a contributing editor - contracted freelancer - with Vanity Fair for 6 years. I live in Dallas & have not been in contact with the new editor in charge. My contract expired and was not renewed. Called my friends there - all of them gone too.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
Sounds like Eichenwald put on his Jack Nicholson and went out walking around in public

@Frank Cannon

It does mean something.  It means I can't post an article that puts a smile on your face.

Why not join me and enjoy the show.  The 2 videos at the link are blissful and rewarding to watch, and while you may be ignorant of Eichenwald, many conservatives, republicans, and just good people are celebrating the epic drama of his downfall.  Can't that be enough for the Editorial/Opinion forum?

You want to put a smile on Frank's Face?  Son, you are going about it the wrong way.
