Former Trump Campaign Aide Nunberg At Court For Grand Jury

WASHINGTON (AP) — A former Trump campaign aide arrived Friday at the federal courthouse in Washington for a scheduled grand jury appearance days after he defiantly insisted in a series of news interviews that he intended to defy a subpoena in special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.

Sam Nunberg did not respond to reporters' questions as he entered court shortly after 9 a.m.

Nunberg on Monday had balked at complying with a subpoena that sought his appearance before a grand jury as well as correspondence with multiple other campaign officials.

If he had been drinking then shame on CNN for putting him on the air.   A real news organization would have never done that.

I voted for Evan McMullen, but I suggest we stay on topic.  I just found it interesting that former Trump campaign aide, Sam Nunberg, reversed course after being so vocal on so many different cable outlets that he'd defy Mueller's subpoena, but when push came to shove, he showed up today (despite all the bluster on Monday).

I found it interesting, the day after he was so vocal, Nunberg announced he would enter rehab.
