Snoring is caused by air vibrating in the upper respiratory tract. There are many recommended snoring remedies, but which are the most effective?

According to the National Sleep Foundation 90 million American adults snore sometimes, and 37 million people snore on a regular basis.

The causes of snoring are usually not serious. However, it may indicate that changes to lifestyle would improve a person's health.

First, if you are male, above 40 years old ... and snore - go get a sleep apnea test

Second, the most effective long term fix for snoring is to lose weight.

Third, a device that hold the chin in place and does not let it drop will be the most effective device.

I find a pillow over the face works wonders.
Micah 6:8  "...what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"

LOL  That's a permanent solution.  Making them sleep in another room is slightly more humane.

@DB Wow, 62 O2 saturation is like COPD territory!  I'm glad you found out and got the CPAP!  My sister could never handle the CPAP, unfortunately ;(.

I'll second this. Anyone who snores should get a test IMO.

I love my CPAP but I'm constantly doing battle with it.
