As I observed on the last thread discussing Malia's choice of boyfriend, I suspect there's some rebellion against her father involved, at least at a subconscious level:  BHO is very conspicuously anti-British (remember his returning the bust of Churchill).

Call me an optimist,but I strongly suspect the fact that the boy is a trust fund child that it the heir to an English banking fortune going back to Colonial Days will ease his pain somewhat.

Not only is Hussein conspicuously anti-British, he is also conspicuously anti-Christian and anti-White. I'm sure if her father could choose her boyfriend for her, the boyfriend would likely be a radical Black Muslim.


Malia chose the exact opposite of everything her father stands for, on several levels.
