CNN? They started the Iowa thing.

The Santorum campaign was also spreading it that night. The simple fact is that it was bizarre for Carson to announce he was leaving the state to get a fresh shirt. Carson was never in danger of winning Iowa and nothing said by CNN, the Santorum or Cruz campaigns had any bearing on Carson losing that night.

The dirtiest thing that happened that night was the attempt to de-legitimize the Cruz win.

I had the opportunity to speak with him, while Johns Hopkins was one of my accounts. He's a very nice man, a great success story, and an incredible neurosurgeon. However, he's way out of his depths in the political arena.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Of course he is!  Only the political elites are fit to enter the realm of politics.  /s

And doing the same to Rubio in Hawaii, I'm sure one can justify that and all of the other tricks.  Fits one's narrative.

 :bsflag:

Santorum did such? I'll believe it when I see real evidence.  Looks like a false allegation. Nothing comes up on a websearch.

Busted Team Cruz apologizes for lying hit piece saying Rubio mocked staffer for reading Bible
February 22, 2016 | Michael Dorstewitz | Print Article

The Cruz campaign was left with egg on its face Sunday.

It was incorrectly reported that Sen. Marco Rubio mocked a Ted Cruz campaign staffer for reading the Bible. Compounding the error, Rick Tyler, the Communications Director for the Texas Republican’s run for the White House, posted the misinformation on his Facebook page.

The falsehood stemmed from a YouTube video of the Florida Republican entering a hotel lobby and encountering the young staffer reading a Bible alongside Cruz’s father.

It seemed like something like this was going on at every state, oh yeah, blame a staffer, TC is never responsible. Right.

Plenty of people who are not elites can explain their policies in a comprehensive manner and understand there is a constitutional process on how to replace a Supreme Court Justice who dies.

Carson had trouble with that and other issues.

Like his suggestion that people in the inner cities shouldn't have guns.

Soros Not Funding Kasich PAC

A TV ad that falsely claimed that Democratic donor George Soros gave “hundreds of thousands of dollars” to Republican Ohio Gov. John Kasich has been revised.

The ad now uses guilt by association to link Kasich to Soros, claiming instead that Kasich got “hundreds of thousands of dollars from George Soros cronies” because two former employees of Soros have contributed to New Day for America, the super PAC backing Kasich for president. .....

The ad, titled “Kasich Won’t Play,” was paid for by Trusted Leadership PAC, a super PAC supporting Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, one of Kasich’s two remaining opponents for the Republican presidential nomination.

And there's still more, as the so-called Cruz supporters crow about how self-righteous they are, if you are handing out manure sandwiches to eat, maybe take a look at the campaign you all allegedly supported.... and I say alleged because half the things Cruz supports, you don't like supporting Mitt in '12 or supporting the Senate health bill. Yet, some say the nastiest things about others.

This is the second or third article on this subject... They all link to the CNNmoney article as source. I just don't see how with what quotes they give how they come up with the headline.

Quote
"I think they want to create a standard where President Trump either from past or future accusations, will not be able to match whatever standard is now in place for who can be a United States senator," he said. "Based off not any sort of conviction or any sort of admission of guilt, but based off of purely allegations."

Here he seems to think it was "pure allegations" without base....

Quote
"Marlow also stressed that he was personally uncomfortable with the behavior attributed by The Post to Moore, and noted that he did believe the accusations from Leigh Corfman..... they were "not perfect," he said, but had "a lot of credibility."

The only quotes are in bold... subquotes if you will, that without full reference don't really mean much of anything but could be used like CNN wanted them to be used (like play-doe). CNN said this was a phone interview, could they not at least link the full quotes? A transcript or did he just jab down notes like it wasn't recorded and go from memory?

Did he actually say, Leigh's accusations were "not perfect" but compared to the other bozos they "had a lot of credibility" ? Who knows, the CNN folks don't give whole quotes to actually support the headline of.... "Breitbart editor now says he believed Leigh Corfman"....

Breitbart has switched ships a lot of times. They went full Trump during the election after being Cruz friendly. But CNN like this article suggest is no better, they are just full commie all the time. You can't tell if what they are saying is fact or spin. GIVE US FULL QUOTEs CNN, because we tire of fake news from all sources.

The CNN Money story is 5 days old.  If Marlow thought he was being misrepresented, he's the Chief Editor of Breitbart and has a big forum.  Yet, there's nothing on the site disputing the article content.  Perhaps you can guess why.

Fair enough, last I can find from Alex was he was taking off for Christmas vacation December 21st (according to radio broadcast on Soundcloud) to return after the new year. He didn't mention the interview, it wasn't brought up though. Nothing on twitter (not that he posts often though)... I don't know much about him to be honest, other that in the radio interviewer it was mentioned he was more centralist than the person doing the interview. Quote: "appreciate the fact that you and I are far different conservatives, I think that you are far (more) centerlist conservative than I am, but I enjoy the fact that we can agree to disagree" (10 minutes in interview)...

Just wish CNN gave the full quotes so I could get a clearer picture of where he stood. Not that it matters I guess. He is but one voice there... just way up the ladder.

Anyhoo... Merry Christmas...

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
