“Churchill was hated by his own party, opposition party, and press. Feared by King as reckless, and despised for his bluntness,†Huckabee tweeted. “But unlike Neville Chamberlain, he didn't retreat. We had a Chamberlain for 8 yrs; in @realDonaldTrump we have a Churchill.â€
Huckabee's comparison is clear, finite and logical.
Will anyone here deny that the President is hated by many, many conservatives and Republicans and all of the Democrat party; and that the main stream and conservative media marinate in that same hate --- or that the President is feared by the globalists and called "reckless" on a
good day? And even on this forum the President is ridiculed and despised for too blunt and "unpresidential" communications. Well, so too was Churchill.
Let's hear from those who think the President isn't a fighter. The President doesn't cower or retreat. He is willing to stand tall and alone among national and world "leaders" to do what he believes is right. So, too, did Churchill.
The angst and shock reactions here feel a little kneejerk -- with precious little to do with the actual comparison made by Huckabee. Or it could be the comparison is hitting a little too close to home for some to admit.
