Hillary Clinton defended leaving the State Department the night of the tragic event that unfolded in Benghazi, telling conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt she doubts the outcome would have been different.

Hewitt asked Clinton twice if she has any regrets about leaving that night, a question the former secretary of state did not answer.

"Oh, you know, I was there until 9, 10:00," Clinton told Hewitt. "And you know, we knew that our goal was to find all of our people and get them out of there, and that was ongoing. And so you know, I went home for a few hours of sleep. I talked to the President, bringing him totally up to date, and then obviously, you know, headed back early the next morning."

Her problems with Benghazi don't relate to what happened that night, those were Obama's fault when he ignore the desperate pleas for help as he went to bed for his Vegas trip.  Her problems were she starved the Libyan diplomats of security before, then lied about what happened after.

Just about everything that was wrong there was because Clinton and Obama were lying about the disaster that was the "Arab Spring."  They were touting it as a wonderful thing, fostered by the Obama administration.  They were half-right, it was fostered by that incompetent crew.

She would not even try to save the lives of our Ambassador or the others.

That was not a time to be indecisive when lives are at stake - it is a time of action, even if it were high risk of failure to prevent.

Thank God this person never became CIC of this country.

BINGO!  And there is also the FACT that they were actively running guns from Lybia in Syria to outfits that later came to be lumped together under the title ISIS!

As always with a Clinton, you must parse, parse parse!  She said "during," which is irrelevant because once the attack was underway the SoS has no say in the events on the ground, it's the President and DoD who run the show.  The President refused to give the orders necessary to help them (which paralyzed the DoD), and then he went to bed.  I'll bet he slept like a baby, too.

New excuse,

Now, she wants us to believe we can't blame her, because she was Incompetent to handle it.

Then WTF did she want the job for to begin with?

But she'd have been MORE competent as President?

My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.
