Hillary Clinton defended leaving the State Department the night of the tragic event that unfolded in Benghazi, telling conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt she doubts the outcome would have been different.
Hewitt asked Clinton twice if she has any regrets about leaving that night, a question the former secretary of state did not answer.
"Oh, you know, I was there until 9, 10:00," Clinton told Hewitt. "And you know, we knew that our goal was to find all of our people and get them out of there, and that was ongoing. And so you know, I went home for a few hours of sleep. I talked to the President, bringing him totally up to date, and then obviously, you know, headed back early the next morning."
