Black Guy Drawing Swastikas In San Francisco Not Considered A Hate Crime

The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) cops thought they had themselves a bonafide hate crime spree going on. Someone had been vandalizing the stations and trains with swastikas and racial slurs, so naturally they were convinced some white racist Trump supporter was responsible. Then they took a look at the surveillance video and saw it was a black guy doing the hateful vandalism. Never mind.
CBS SF Bay Area reports that a week ago swastikas started appearing at BART stations in the San Francisco area. After several incidents of both Nazi graffiti and racial slurs, the police determined that this was all the work of one racist bleep. The news doesn’t say what specifically the racial slurs were, because why would they?
