Norway: Immigration to cost 10,000 extra in taxes per person per year

Immigration to Norway will cost NOK 10,000 (ca $1,300) extra in taxes per person every year from 2025, shows a new study from Statistics Norway (SSB).

An important reason is that the population will be twice as large with the expected immigration by the end of this century, as it would have been without immigration, NRK reports.
