Apparently that new movie is a remake of an older version of the same name.

But to answer the topic question... if you're conscious, you're not dead.

The original movie was fun, had a young Keifer Sutherland and Julia Roberts.

On the other topic, a friend of mine died twice a few years ago, he swears purgatory is totally real.
