Democrats too politically correct to see their problem

The Democratic Party is in the worst shape of any political party in 40 years. It controls 6 state governments (governor and legislature) while Republicans control 26.

This is a reversal of fortune from eight years ago when Democrats controlled 17 states, and Republicans but 9.
