was a burst of requisite leadership from the president himself.

Sure . . .

. . . [W]e do have a reality star for a president whose claim to fame was the line “you’re fired!” And, lest we
forget, the entire 2016 campaign was one “did that really just happen?” mess after another. Such chaos was
so loved by the MAGA crowds that they voted Donald Trump in as our 45th president.

If you’re counting, we have at least 3 1/2 years left of this Donald-fueled disarray. It will not only continue to
emanate from the White House, but it will bleed over into the GOP Congress, as it has already.

It may be amusing and headline-grabbing, but it’s not good for the country as a whole. However, the country
hurt by such incompetence and unprofessional behavior is the very one that voted for it.

At the risk of pointing out the effing obvious.... as has already been pointed out ad nauseam.....

I hate to think of the chaos we'd be experiencing right now had Hillary won.

There.  I said it!  Sue me.   lol

But seriously, folks....

the anti-gun ownership laws that would have been presented and possibly passed....the massive increase in illegals and ""refugees"".... the massive increase in national debt, welfare and green schemes, and probably huge tax increases.  Oh, and at least one rabid leftie appointed to the USSC, possibly two or more by now....as Ginsburg would have stepped down by now under a Democrat White House, IMO.

Point is.... it could always be worse.   And would be.

I did not expect Trump's first year to go smoothly.   This is the price you pay for having an 'outsider'.   He has to learn the ropes, who to trust, who not to trust,  what works, what doesn't work.

I'm willing to give him a year.  If we are still seeing this at the end of the year, I am going to be concerned.   But I'm willing to let him make the mistakes now.

If he gets it under control,  a year from now, nobody is going to care about all this.    I just pray he does get it under control.

No, this is the chaos people like @Right_in_Virginia voted for.

Two terms of Obama proved to us that the electorate is a bunch of idiots. The 2016 primary and general showed us that the idiocy infects the right as well.

I'm never going to be comfortable with the fact that the country is basically run by idiots, voted for by idiots. We've reached Idiocracy ahead of schedule.

As opposed to thousands of Soetero supporters burning down parts of four or five US cities without any negative consequences to themselves?  THAT kind of chaos?

Or, producing a shambles from what had been a robust defense stance and foreign policy?  THAT kind of chaos?

Or, dancing in Wolf's Lair while terrorists sponsored by foreign regimes attack and murder the Libyan embassy staff?  THAT kind of chaos?

A few of us consistently challenged them in the comments - I assume some still do but I got so disgusted with the site I stopped visiting altogether...
