Levin: GOP ‘Lied Their Way Into Office,’ Perpetrated ‘Greatest Hoax in Modern Politics’

Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Mark Levin blasted Republicans in yet another Facebook note on Wednesday, saying they “lied their way into office” and perpetrated the “greatest hoax in modern politics.”

“Here comes rationing, long waiting periods, and massive red-tape,” said Mark Levin in all caps on. “The Republicans lied their way into office in what is the greatest hoax in modern politics.”

Levin’s comments came after seven Republican senators joined Democrats in voting no on a “clean repeal” of Obamacare promoted by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. on Wednesday.

I listen just to stay abreast of current controversies. Levin is my second favorite talk show host (Chris Plante is my #1, because he is cheerfully witty in his brashness). 

However, Levin is by no means without flaws.  Some of his blind spots are pretty serious, in my opinion.  Didn't he say last year that Comey was a straight shooter?  And why did he overlook Sessions's  despicable and obviously disqualifying, anti-Constitutional stance on Civilian Assets Forfeiture? 

Levin knows a lot of history, and yet he fawns over Abraham Lincoln without even considering the overall history of Lincoln's role in our present mess of federal overreach and crony capitalism. 

Worst of all, Levin dogmatically declares--every chance he gets--that Obama was born in Hawaii.  (You can bet that Levin has NEVER really examined the evidence in that matter.)  In short, Levin is actually too naïve to deserve all of the accolades he gets from virtually all of his callers.

Levin is of course entirely accurate, on the topic of free or government subsidized healthcare, btw.

Free medical care is available to all, regardless of ability to pay. Has been for decades.

The change is the belief, put forward by democrats mostly, that free health insurance is a right, even at the expense of other taxpayers.

I think you are wrong about the NeverTrumpers.  Most of the NeverTrumpers I know (myself included) do still listen to Levin.  Heck, I'm glad he broke his NeverTrumper promise (just as I am glad that I didn't).

Good for you. A rare breath of fresh air here, common sense and results focused participation.

I grew tired of Levin's screaming, and during the campaign he was extremely hard on Trump.

But he is an adult. Pragmatist in the end. Trump is an opportunity for Republicans to do conservative measures.

Plus he can see the obstructionism by democrats, by the media, and a few establishment Republicans.

I now listen to him (he has cut back the screaming, too), along with Lou Dobbs, Carlson, Hannity.

Obviously so.  We know the sound of true Conservatism when we hear it, and we can rightfully judge when a person is just paying it lip service to placate or make a buck off us.

Irrelevant.  He talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk when it comes to all the threats he made to leave the party.  Knowing full well Trump was a lifelong liberal Democrat, he encouraged everyone to vote for him anyway.  He does a great job explaining Reagan Conservatism and the Constitution and yet won't do a damned thing to actually encourage Conservatives to begin a new party built on the principles he articulates on air rather than the Corporate Statism/Rockefeller bedrock the GOP is built on.

He himself is stuck on the slave plantation and cannot bring himself to leave it.  A good number of us have, and Levin thinks that's foolish.  We're done practicing insanity and enduring battered wife syndrome with an adulterous party that holds us in as much contempt as the Democrats do.

Nothing is ever "free".  Someone, usually us - pays for it one way or another or it disappears and goes as the ether.

Short answer is pretty much. Congress just flat out lied, Trump is growing increasingly ADHD. There is little to zero leadership right now.
