Bill de Blasio skipped an NYPD swearing-in ceremony to protest capitalism at the G20 summit in Germany. 

New York City’s communist mayor Bill de Blasio skipped an NYPD swearing-in ceremony just one day after a police officer was assassinated so he could protest capitalism at the G20 Summit in Germany. All on taxpayers’ dime.

That’s another slap in the face that de Blasio — a supporter of the anti-cop Black Lives Matter movement — has delivered to police during his rocky tenure.

It's a slap in the face to everyone in NYC.  Unfortunately, except for some, the voters in NYC would be stupid enough to re-elect deBlasio again.

He'll be re-elected.  The thing with the cops is, a lot of them don't live in the five boroughs and therefore don't vote in he mayoral elections.  They can still influence an election through union spending, but not through casting votes.
