Soccer Star Pulls Out Of Matches Where Team Wears ‘Pride’ Jerseys

Jaelene Hinkle, a member of the U.S. women’s national soccer team, is making a statement with her feet.

U.S. Soccer announced late last month that when the women’s team played two international matches in June, it would wear rainbow “pride-inspired” jerseys, in honor of LGBTQ Pride month.

Hinkle, an outspoken Christian, then pulled out of those matches for undisclosed “personal reasons.”
