Senate Republicans demand answers on Flynn

The Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee says he wants to investigate how Flynn’s calls with the Russian ambassador were leaked — not the impact of the calls themselves.

A growing number of Senate Republicans are echoing Democratic calls for scrutiny of ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn’s pre-inauguration talks with Russia, raising new pressure on the White House.

The GOP remains largely united in quashing Democrats' insistence on an independent probe of the Trump administration’s relationship with Moscow, and House Republican leaders offered deference to the president on Tuesday — urging Washington to move beyond Flynn's resignation. But several Republican senators pressed for a deeper look into Flynn's actions, suggesting Congress could call him to testify as well as examine the transcripts of his calls with the Russian ambassador.

The Senate’s second-ranking Republican and other GOP senators are calling for an investigation into connections between President Donald Trump and Russia, and want former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to testify.

Amazing that there is this much turmoil and Trump is literally less than a month into his Presidency.

Oh don't mind me...I'll just be over here reminiscing with myself about how I and others tried to tell people that electing Mitch and his RINO horde was gonna bite them and America in the ass.

But people as usual, knew better. They didn't want to hear about lesser evils and no matter what voting. So now that Trump is actually in there and surprisingly governing like a conservative, the very RINOS they were repeatedly warned about are going to stop any conservatism he had going.

Well they can't say they haven't been waned every election for well over a decade or two now. Because they were. Long before I opened my mouth in fact. Since they won't listen to anyone, I guess they really WANT liberalism.

It will do wonders for stopping any new EO on refugees or any other immigration fixes, a wall being built or an Obamacare repeal.

You just KNOW the mantra is now going to be "This is too important to delay!" Because it's the seriousness of the charge you see...
