Outgoing CIA Director John Brennan had some sharp criticism and warnings Sunday for Donald Trump, saying the incoming president doesn’t have a “full understanding” of Russia’s power and threat to the world.

“I don’t think he has a full understanding of Russian capabilities and the actions they are taking on the world,” Brennan told “Fox News Sunday.”

He also suggested that Trump lacks “full appreciation” of Russia’s aggression or about why President Obama imposed sanctions on the Kremlin for meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

“Mr. Trump has to understand that absolving Russia is a road that he needs to be very, very careful about moving down,” Brennan said.

Brennan was appointed by President Obama in 2013 to run the country’s premier spy agency.

I'd be more inclined to believe what he's saying if the Democrats hadn't made a political football and fundraiser out of the "Russian connection."  The attempt to delegitimize Trump over alleged Russian hacks of Hillary Clinton and the DNC has made it virtually impossible to investigate it. 

Oh, and if he wasn't reputed to be a Moslem convert.

If you mean this in the sense "Does it obscure Obama's actions vis. Russia over the past eight years?" then yes.

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

   I believe the Russian threat is real, and according to testimony last week, so does Tillerson and Mattis, and that is encouraging to me.  I still think Trump will be in Red Square for the Mayday parade.

I don't think he has that kind of affinity for the Russians or Putin in particular, but it's kind of a box the Democrats built for him by politicizing the alleged hacking.  Since they've made a football out of it he's responding in kind.  Not being a political scientist, I have no idea how he could have avoided all this. 

The Rats (along with the usual RINO suspects) are declaring his Presidency "illegitimate" over this matter, and he has to shoot back, no choice.
