George Washington University students marched to the White House Tuesday to protest Donald Trump’s election and issue demands such as making GW a “sanctuary campus” and minimizing the role of campus police.
Students also demanded that GW accept a greater number of Palestinian and Muslim immigrants, “assert itself on the side of its students of color," and create gender-neutral restrooms on campus.
GW has not issued a statement in response to the ultimatum, but posted supportive messages to its official social media accounts as the march was taking place.
