That's an unfair comparison.   Opposing the election of back stabbing Senators is a very different proposition from preventing the election of a psychotic rage witch.

There are a Hundred Senators  many of which should temper the bad consequences of a few bad apples,   but there is only one President to control the entire executive branch.   The stakes are far higher for the Presidency.

Also I urged anyone who would listen to vote for the Democrat over McConnell in Kentucky,  and to vote for the Democrat over Cochran in Mississippi.

Traitors both.

Not remotely unfair as the lesser evils in congress are the very people that we can't trust/cause all the liberalism/directly block conservatives/conservatism. Whats unfair is for those that did in fact demand we elect these pieces of human garbage, to complain about the problem we face today. They caused it. The lesser evils only got elected with their help/support/excuses.

The only way to get rid of lesser evil/untrustable pols is to elect principled ones. That is the very thing the lesser evil voters refuse to do even when given the option. I present Ted Cruz into evidence.

Warren demands that Trump rescind Sessions pick

By Nolan D. McCaskill

11/18/16 03:36 PM EST

Elizabeth Warren on Friday urged President-elect Donald Trump to rescind his nomination of Jeff Sessions as attorney general, arguing that allowing the Alabama senator to lead the Justice Department would be a “compromise with racism” and a “negotiation with hate.”

Trump on Friday morning announced the latest appointments to his upcoming administration, tapping Sessions as attorney general, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn as a national security adviser and Kansas Rep. Mike Pompeo as CIA director.

“Instead of embracing the bigotry that fueled his campaign rallies, I urge President-elect Trump to reverse his apparent decision to nominate Senator Sessions to be Attorney General of the United States,” Warren (D-Mass.) said in a statement. “If he refuses, then it will fall to the Senate to exercise fundamental moral leadership for our nation and all of its people.”

Sessions would have to be confirmed in the Senate before he could serve as the nation’s top law enforcement official, though it appears he has enough Republican support to sail through.

I only just realize how wonderful the Sessions nomination must be.

It would seem that Fauxcahontas is on the warpath.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

If its any consolation, the democrats have a buttload of seats up for grabs next election. The repubs, realtively few.

That is interesting.  Much may depend on how well Trump does, but I hope the dems have lost enthusiasm and we will get rid of a few of them.

Not remotely unfair as the lesser evils in congress are the very people that we can't trust/cause all the liberalism/directly block conservatives/conservatism.

But the consequences of a bad apple in the Senate are far less than that of a bad apple in the Presidency.  Especially when the "apple"  we are talking about is rotten and psychotic.

Whats unfair is for those that did in fact demand we elect these pieces of human garbage, to complain about the problem we face today. They caused it. The lesser evils only got elected with their help/support/excuses.

You are oversimplifying.   I've had this argument many times.   It is not enough just to find principled people,  you must deliberately and with malicious aforethought make a example out of bad ones when they cross you.

Again I point to the NRA and how they have successfully integrated their policies so deeply into both parties that neither one dares to seriously challenge them any more.

They do this by voting for the opponent.    Now this works very well (over the long term)  in dealing with members of congress,    but the presidency is a different bird.   This time we had a choice between insanity and likely fiery death,   or a boorish man who wants to spend government money to solve problems.

As i've said before,  the most important principle is that we should continue to survive and in as much freedom as we are able.

Right.  As if the Democrats have anything to say about Racism.  Look at the record.

Erik Holder..

HOLDER: Whites Can't Be Victims of Racial Injustice Because They Haven't Suffered Enough

Excerpt:

Or, The Continuing Media Narrative of ‘Acceptable’ Racism.

Dr. King once said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Apparently, US Attorney General Eric Holder didn’t get the memo.

Whites are the permanent “oppressors” in the mainstream media narrative, while all other races are the permanent “victims.” In fact, “white” and “oppressor” are essentially synonymous — meaning: whites are the bad guys. All whites have been lumped together and typecast in a bad reality TV show. Because whites as a group do not have clean hands, therefore, they are denied the right of seeking justice.

If that isn’t stereotyping, I don’t know what is.

The larger issue, of course, is that “whites as racists” constitutes the fundamental lens through which Holder views issues in America. During the healthcare debate, Holder likened opposition of Obamacare to opposition to civil rights. Not civil rights in the sense that, “all Americans share civil rights,” mind you, but “Civil Rights” as in the struggle for black legal equality in America during the 40’s-60’s. Translation: those who oppose Obamacare are racists. Such language is naked race-baiting and scapegoating. But Holder doesn’t care. Whites are the bad guy bogeymen, trotted out when it gets tough to pass legislation. And his recent comments reveal his paradigm: white Americans are generally racist and any time they oppose any Obama policy or “injustice” at the hands of a racist group, they’re either being racists or they’re simply not entitled to equal protection because they haven’t suffered as much as other groups.

Nobody is seeking to belittle the suffering of other people, here, but America seeks equality. This means equal protection under the law, not equality in historical racial suffering.

We sat through eight years of Obama racism too.

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

I would say, short of falling on his face from a bad comb-over..Trump will do fine. We have had 8 years of basically a depression. A depression painted over by The Fed printing of money. Looking at the Conservative government Trump is putting together... united across ALL it's elements.. but Heritage types foremost.

It gives me hope.

As for 2018, there is a great chance... likely chance that R's.. conservatives will achieve a filibuster proof Senate. Something not done in modern history (Post WWII). Democrats/progressives have had it many times. Needless to say ..that is why we are in the sad position today.

Anyways... enjoy. http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/306210-10-senate-seats-that-could-flip-in-2018

According to the American Media establishment, the guy on the left is a White guy.
The blond-haired, blue eyed, woman on the right is a "minority".
She has received grants and 'special consideration' based on her 'ethnicity' to compensate for her struggle against racist White people, who were apparently 'oppressing' her.

Warren is liar and a fraud. She is an insult to both White people and Native Americans.
She has negated all credibility to any position she may have about anything in my eyes.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

Traitors both.

Had people listened to that advice, the new Senate would have been 50-50 at best for a couple of weeks before Trump took office.  Biden would have broken the tie, and Garland would have been confirmed.

We'd have lost the Supreme Court, which means the Second Amendment and who know what else would have been gone.

All to prove...what, exactly?

This is why I almost never read past the headline.

It is why you should never stop reading at the headline.  Actual factual info usually exists in the article.

"psychotic rage witch."  I'm going to have to borrow that one from time to time.  It fits the faux squaw to a "T".

What is really funny about this psychotic rage witch is that she loves to pretend that what she thinks, says, or believes matters to anyone.  Nothing she says matters to anyone.  She and her party have been politically castrated by this election.

We will have more entertainment coming from her direction as the Republicans in the Senate insert the "Nuclear Option" where the sun does not shine and then push their voting button to confirm Trumps picks thereby detonating her fantasies of relevance or power.
