Kerry will return to Boston, work in private sector
By Mallory Shelbourne - 12/18/16 11:03 AM EST

Secretary of State John Kerry will return to Boston after he steps down from the State Department, according to the Boston Globe.

Kerry told the newspaper he plans to work in the private sector, though he did not provide additional details.

“I’m going to continue to work for peace and conflict resolution in a constructive forum that I’m trying to think about and shape right now,” he said in an interview.

Kerry also reflected on his years serving President Obama as the nation’s top diplomat, noting that once he steps down from his post he will still be “engaged politically.”

 “You can imagine, it was very hard to sit there during the presidential race and bite your tongue and lip and stay silent. As of Jan. 20, I don’t have to do that anymore,” he told the newspaper.

@Sanguine

What he really means is he will offer to pimp out his name to any organization willing to pay the money in order to be the talking head for a cut of their take. His name will open doors that would have remained shut to most people. Especially in and FOR foreign countries.

Least of all in the private sector.  He really must want to avoid his hard-drinking wife.

Oh, I wouldn't say that.  He's worked pretty hard on acting a fool.

The shrapnel wounds will alone, from this, will see kerry as another war fraud.

Good point.  It is a natural position and garb for him.

I stand corrected.

@musiclady @Wingnut @Frank Cannon @IsailedawayfromFR @mountaineer @Vulcan  @beandog @Sanguine @Emjay @mystery-ak

The most interesting factoid about John Wayne Kerry is that his war record and his book serve to expose the hypocrisy of the left. I haven't read the book,but people that did read it say when writing about the horrors of war in the book,he related a time when he used the 50 caliber machinegun on the deck of his boat to gun down unarmed men,women,and children. The excuse he used is that they were in a "Free Fire Zone",and everyone on the left seems to have assumed that he was just doing his duty as  an American Imperialist Pig.

For those of you who don't know,"Free Fire Zones" in VN were areas where the South Vietnames government had no control because they were under the control of the Viet Cong/NVA. The SVN government had "Hamlet programs" that would remove any civilians living in the area that didn't want to live under communist control to another section of VN,and give them farm land and government protection to live their normal lives. Sounds good on paper,but the reality is that people who have been living and farming the same lands for multiple generations don't want to leave their ancestral homes regardless of which government that is in charge. Yes,some did stay because they believed in communism,but many stayed because it was their homes,and they hoped that as long as they continued to lead their normal lives and didn't threaten anyone,they would be safe.

And for the most part they were safe from Americans. Until some bleep like John Wayne Kerry shows up with a 50 cal and a desire to be a war hero to help his political career,anyway.
I may be wrong,but I THINK that was the incident he wrote himself up for a Silver Star over. I do remember that during the Silver Star episode he only wounded one kid,and then brought the boat to shore to chase him down on foot and kill him with his M-16. The kid was wounded and unarmed,and our "hero" shot him to death anyhow.

Maybe they think that because truthfully,how freaking smart CAN those people be,but the truth is just because you CAN do something and it is Legal to do so,that does NOT mean you are REQUIRED to do it or that it is the moral thing to do.

Yet the worldwide left gives him a total pass on that while calling Reagan and Goldwater warmongers.

Not much hypocrisy there,huh?
