You know you're in the midst of the best (or most depressing, depending on your perspective) election cycle ever when this happens on live TV: When questioned by MSNBC's Hallie Jackson over whether North Carolina is intentionally seeking to suppress minority voters, Dallas Woodhouse, the executive director of North Carolina’s GOP, had a rather surprising prop to share with the stunned Jackson. According to The Hill: Dallas Woodhouse, executive director of North Carolina’s GOP said Clinton’s supporters in his state “have a depression problem." During a discussion about whether North Carolina was limiting early voting in the state, Woodhouse held up a pair of handcuffs. "We don’t have a suppression vote problem in North Carolina. The Democrats have a depression problem. You know why?,” Woodhouse began, holding up the handcuffs. "It’s very simple. Their candidate, if elected, could have these on election day.” “Hillary Clinton inauguration jewelry,” Woodhouse added. “Here's the bottom line. Mr. Obama was here in North Carolina yesterday, at Chapel Hill, a very liberal area. Guess what? He’s not her. He’s much more inspiring to people in North Carolina to vote than she is," he said. "She is accused of misdeeds with her emails, she is accused of problems with the Clinton Foundation. People in America don’t trust her. And that’s why Democrats have a depression problem.”
That was very stupid. He just fired up some more of the Clinton base.
Yeah, but he fired up a Donny hater like me so it's a wash.
The bleep are already fired up, so that stunt didn't add much on that account.
Maybe some pink ones would have been better.
