It was hard.

Clearly he just didn’t want to do it.

I won't be here after the election and vote.

If Hillary wins - I will be busy, BLOAT! (It won't be long before she won't let you buy.)

If Trump wins, I won't be here to GLOAT. (I don't want to hang around while everyone looks at every speck in his eye.)

Someone should dig up your prior posts trashing Cruz. Because it's really entertaining to watch the man you trashed now become your favorite talking point.

The posted article cites Thatcher's "Socialist Ratchet", that is, the observation that liberals/progressives inevitably push government to the left while conservatives merely hold in place before the next move left, and accuses Cruz's now-detractors of perpetuating that tendency when they criticize him for endorsing Trump.

There are understandable arguments on either side of Cruz's endorsement, but I find it ridiculous to suggest that Conservtives who oppose Trump are merely delaying the next grand move to the left.  Conservative anti-Trumpers argue that Trump *is* the next grand move to the left.

No. I'm not.

Besides, you who refused to vote for Romney have no moral authority to tell us we HAVE to vote for anyone. Your double standard here is nauseating.

I decided to vote for a conservative. Choke on it.

One things is for sure; Cruz now has name recognition (be it positive or negative) and obviously his endorsement mattered.  His endorsement made the front headlines and has been reported, critiqued and analyzed by multiple sources.  IMHO it is Cruz who offered Trump the olive branch and it is Cruz who is trying to unite the party to defeat Hillary Clinton. Mr. Cruz is now a force to be reckoned with!

Cruz made a fool of himself kneeling in submission to Trump and now he will own all the evil Trump does.  He gained not one single vote.  He is just being used.  He did lose plenty of support and respect.  The praise he is getting in this column is from a Trump primary supporter.  This guy is happy that Cruz caved under Trump's bullying.  That is all.

...and had he not endorsed Trump he would have felt that he would own all the evil that Hillary does.  One helluva position to be in.  One that we're all in.

It does absolutely no good to obsess with someone else's conscience decision as it takes away from what is truly at stake; keeping the majority in both Houses of Congress and the Supreme Court.  I know that this will be the most critical election of my lifetime and I am not looking forward to election day.  I see voting as my responsibility to my country and I am going to have to live with my decision.

Not me. I'm completely free of responsibility in this liberal fiasco. I vote for conservatives.

You are cheering Ted because he has joined the establishment. It's as obvious as a heart attack.

So, half of Republicans say Cruz is toast because he did 't endorse during the convention.
The other half say Cruz is toast because he endorsed now.

Cruz today is fighting internet takeover, DHS on only verbally vetting immigrants, and with Mike Lee, standing up for religious freedom.

I don't ask for or want my Senator to tell me who to support for POTUS.
I want a good Senator.
He is one.

I feel like this has been the longest election cycle ever.  For the longest time, I was absolutely fine with writing in the candidate of my choice until I found out that the vote wouldn't be counted so that is no longer an option for me.  Chance of a 3rd party candidate winning is slim to none and in the chance that voting 3rd party denies Hillary or Trump the majority the House still would decide between Trump, Hillary or Johnson.  Neither of those are acceptable to me.  I even had a ridiculous hope that for some reason both Trump and Hillary would decide to step down and we would have an election between Pence and Kaine...if only...

I don't care if they count my vote 3P or write in. I care that I did my duty to God, Myself, America and the Constitution. If enough people did likewise, those votes would either be counted or a civil war would ensure the next votes were in fact counted.
