The race is Trump's to lose I believe. I think HIllary's negatives are weighing more on her than on Trump. I think Trump's protectionist, anti-PC message resonates more than people realize. I think Hillary and the email scandal give the impression that she broke the law and got away with it. It paints her as royalty.

Of course Trump could blow it all, and he often does, with his big mouth.

One poll, within MOE.  No battleground polls show Trump leading, Trump down 8 in PA, a state he has to have.

Trump's campaign is a mess, with few field offices, outreach to blacks which is not working, a jumbled immigration plan.

Revelations against Clinton are definitely hurting her, but Trump is Trump.  He is not preparing for the debates, which is where he might make a real difference.

However, Trump could blow it with his mouth.. All he has to do now is stay on the message.

And you obviously think he won't??

There's absolutely nothing to distract him, with the Clintons his only target.

Right ... if only he could kick Cruz out; he lives in his head rent free 24/7.   :silly:

Nothing to distract him?  He's still hurling insults.  The first debate is in a couple of weeks and his temperament and his bombastic personality will be Hillary's first advantage ... also Megyn Kelly will be one of the moderators.  From past performance all someone has to do is mention the size of his hands and he goes full bombastic on them. I for one am looking forward to the circus performance.   :eatdrink:

The stench of Hitlery's corruption may be reaching the voters. It is inconceivable to me that anyone could vote for the lying thieving shrew.

Yeah not like Trump has ever opened his big mouth needlessly, like say, attacking a judge for his Mexican ethnicity or anything.

I, for one, am not rooting against him.  Not sure whether I will vote for him, but I think it is counterproductive to continually attack him and hope for him to fail.  At the very least, it is nice to see Hillary floundering.

@Weird Tolkienish Figure

Agree.

And it's the scandal that doesn't seem to go away. And we are already past Labor Day and it's still being discussed
