Are mealy-mouthed establishment Republicans the new Democrats?

Establishment Republicans won’t stop saying or doing stupid things this election season. One after another, they have declared their hatred for Donald Trump or endorsed Hillary Clinton. Those who have not stooped to such unseemliness have little to brag about either, as many of them have repeatedly failed to defend their party’s nominee or undermined him at every turn.

Each time, establishment Republicans eagerly proclaim that they are more decent than the man chosen by a record number of GOP primary voters and supported by 83 percent of self-identified Republicans. Yet, while objecting to Trump’s unconventional style and rhetoric, the Trump haters have no appreciation or answer for the grave issues he raises.

It is quite funny how the judgement on if they are a phony or genuine Republican is if they support the phony NY Liberal Republican(sic).

Hmm, well this is interesting. I checked "The National Interest" website as linked.  The honorary chair of The National Interest is Henry Kissinger. The author of this article is Ying Ma who up until a spat of pro-Trump articles, was writing a lot of pro-China / pro-globalism articles.

Why would a Kissinger/Pro-China publication be promoting Trump?

Ahh, but here we go.... Ying Ma runs a Trump Super PAC.

So we have a pro-globalist, pro-China lobbyist running a Trump Super PAC and writing pro-Trump articles for a Kissinger inspired publication.

The rhetoric in this article by China operatives is the same as those Trump people on here and on FR and anywhere else they are:  They all call non trump people "Trump haters". These Trump people are so dense they can't understand intelligent reasons why Trump would be a disaster.  They just throw out "Trump hater" because they don't want to think.

I do not think Trump has been a Republican long enough to know what a phony Republican is.
He could try a mirror and I bet he would find one there.
