People are furious that Bernie Sanders just endorsed Hillary Clinton.



Speaking to a crowd in New Hampshire Tuesday, the senator from Vermont thanked the 13 million people who voted for him during the primaries, but noted he didn’t secure enough delegates to win the nomination.

“It is not enough to win the nomination,” Sanders told the crowd. “Hillary Clinton goes into the convention with a lot more delegates. Secretary Clinton has won the Democratic nominating process. And I congratulate her.”

“She will be the Democratic nominee for president. I intend to do everything I can to make sure she is the next president of the United States.”



“There is no doubt in my mind, that as we head into November, Hillary Clinton is the best candidate.”

His supporters were not pleased.

Bernie supporters are already coming around to Clinton.

They aren't going to Trump.

Also, running on 'law and order' is viewed as running on a 'Boss Hogg' platform by blacks, where the police will have carte blanche to do anything to their community with the active support of government.

So it's not going to garner jack in political terms.

Not sure having a body temp of 98.6 qualifies Sanders s'porters as People.  Better than the cold blooded reptilian Clinton hacks.. but "People"...that is a stretch.

More people are scared than are furious.  To gain the Oval Office, all Hillary needed to do was be less frightening than Trump.  But she is coming on strong lately.  And I do believe this race has tightened over the past week.

Left-wing utopian proposals tend to poll favorably, much like individual pieces of Obamacare.  When the true price is revealed, that support evaporates.  I think she's making a big mistake by courting the radical left rather than Republican women and professionals.

It seems it's not a myth.  All of my children -- "Gen Yers" -- know in person or have encountered online what they sneeringly call "Bernie bros":  young male Sanders supporters who hate Clinton and have actually declared their support for Trump. 

Basically they are populists who don't care whether it's left populism or right populism.

I suspect their numbers aren't large enough to make a difference, probably much smaller than the #NeverTrump faction of the GOP, but they do exist.

The real problem here is that Trump supporters had a hopeful expectation that hardline communists would hop on board the Trump train.  What does that say for their candidate?

"The fart-in is to raise attention about things that really stink in our society,” said Dr. Walter Tsou, of the Philadelphia branch of Physicians for Social Responsibility.

Honkala told US News and World Report that Tuesday's endorsement will not stop the "fart-in," — in face, she said, the number of people sending beans "will probably quadruple.”

Honkala also said beans of all sorts and varieties have already been delivered to the organization's office in Philadelphia from as far afield as Texas and Wisconsin.   ...

As for the cross over voters they do exist.. It depends on the GOP candidate.. I don't foresee the cross over votes voting for Trump period. As for the Reagan Democrats. They are gone like the Dodo bird.
