A new report from Harvard University says press coverage of Donald Trump's presidential campaign become progressively more negative as Trump built a lead in the Republican primaries — and soared after Trump clinched the GOP nomination.

A graph in the report from the Shorenstein Center of Media, Politics and Public Policy forms an almost perfect "X," as Trump coverage went from 57 percent positive and 43 percent negative during the early Republican primaries to 61 percent negative and 39 percent positive after Trump defeated his last Republican rivals.

I just wish someone would have warned us that the liberal media was going to stop propping Trump up after the primaries.

Oh, they weren't shy about admitting they were propping him up because he was their cash cow. Les Moonves for example:

You and I knew the rat media was rooting for and protecting Trump.  Some Trump fans convinced themselves that Trump was a master of media manipulation.

Duh.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

I did.  Multiple times.  And if you think it's bad now, just wait until after he officially becomes the nominee.  He will be lucky to get 40% of the vote.

The media goaded the gullible into supporting the candidate it wanted, one it knew Hillary would defeat.

Always better to go with somebody they hate to begin with.

Behavior toward the NY values comment was pretty telling.

Ah, then they would have pushed Ted Cruz.

True, how could Cruz have won with between 7- 13 percent of Republicans supporting him? He could not even win his home State by a majority...
Trump is for America First.
"Crooked Hillary Clinton is the Secretary of the Status Quo – and wherever Hillary Clinton goes, corruption and scandal follow." D. Trump 7/11/16

Did you know that the word ‘gullible’ is not in the dictionary?

Claude Rains moment here.

It won't get any better between now and November.

Trump got coverage because he said outrageous things and brought ratings, and the media stayed silent and let him.

Trump now will be scrutinized by that very media, who gave him over 60% of the free airtime over the rest of the Republican field.
Cruz only got 20% with the rest of the field dividing up the remaining coverage.

The Democrat machine got the candidate they wanted to run against.

But is Trump Major Heinrich Strasser or
Ugarte?

Ah, the old "my-guy-is-getting-beat-up-so-I'll-pick-on-someone-you-might-like" tactic.  Which doesn't say anything good about your ability to present your guy in a good light.

This could probably be demonstrated about any GOP candidate since Nixon.  For sure it's true of Romney and McCain.

Ted Cruz---they just can't quit him.

It's pretty telling, really.

The mediots were already sniping at Cruz to begin with.

Meanwhile I'm betting they were glad the morons bought the Kelly vs Trump skit that set up the media hates trump narrative. Now Kelly is kissing Trump's butt with the best of them and attacking Cruz.

While you guys continue to gloat about the primaries Hillary continues to eat Trumps lunch.

Nice going.

Of course it did.  I said this was going to happen.  Media picked the GOP nominee AGAIN!  And all to help Hillary.  But some/most are too stupid or blind to realize it.

In reality, the press has gone pretty easy on him so far.  Just wait until if he becomes the official candidate.
