Pope says Church should ask forgiveness from gays for past treatment

June 26, 2016

Pope Francis said on Sunday that Christians and the Roman Catholic Church should seek forgiveness from homosexuals for the way they had treated them.

He added: "I think that the Church not only should apologize ... to a gay person whom it offended but it must also apologize to the poor as well, to the women who have been exploited, to children who have been exploited by (being forced to) work. It must apologize for having blessed so many weapons."

He's fully Christian and fully Catholic. John Paul II asked for apologies, in 2000, from women, from Jews, and from those who had been enslaved with the Church's cooperation.

There is little doubt that Christianity has abused gay people from time immemorial.  Catholicism, in this year of mercy, is doing its part to seek forgiveness.

This pope spouts off heresy and is not a Christian. He is not a man I would envy when he meets our Lord at Judgement day since it is harder for a man who claims falsehoods and is a leader in a church to be saved. He is looked at differently than the lay man since he claims to know God's word the Bible and this man doesn't. He is an anti christ not a Christian.

You do not apologize to the sinner for the mere act of calling out a sin, especially when there is no desire on their part to seek repentance for it.

Of course he's saying that...next it'll be the child molesters among the priests in his church he'll expect to be forgiven..... Round and round it goes......
