Trump: Yeah, So I’ll Declare America Bankrupt

Quote
n a discussion on CBS News Wednesday about how he would handle America's crushing debt, Donald Trump said he'd use the same approach he's used for his businesses: "renegotiate the debt." In other words, walk America through a form of national bankruptcy. When pressed by O'Donnell about the "very severe consequences" of such an act, the self-described "King of Debt" immediately reversed himself, saying, "I wouldn't renegotiate the debt."

This is how to kill the economy.

Trump is an economic ignoramus.  He doesn't know how economies work, how markets work, how government works.

And yet, 40% of voters want to turn the country over to this walking blundebuss.  Dopey.
Roy Moore's "spiritual warfare" is driving past a junior high without stopping.

Can't wait for his interview tomorrow at the opening of his golf course in Scotland -- am sure he'll wax eloquently about currencies and markets now that the Brexit = leave.  Not to mention that his other golf course there is hemorrhaging money and employs 150 people after he promised thousands of jobs and an economic bonanza.  Sound familiar?

The first one is losing tons of money, hey open another.... Trump always doubles down before he gets out and leaves others holding the bag

:facepalm2:  The man's an economic genius. /sarcasm.  Another illustration of how shallow is his knowledge pool.

Milton Friedman he's not...

More like Milton Waddams from Office Space.

"And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire... "

Tell me that doesn't sound like a Trump address at one of his rallies?

LOL.  Very similar -- read a column a few weeks back about how, when he speaks, his supporters fill in all the blanks of his incoherent blather and come away thinking he's a genius.  But, the columnist wrote, to get the true measure of his incompetence you have to read the transcripts of his speeches, etc.  Look for the transcript of one of his meetings with the Washington Post's editorial board -- very appropriate, substantive questions. His answers are stunningly ridiculous.

Michael Savage has been saying the same thing. That brilliant communicators like he and Trump can speak in incoherent streams of consciousness that only they can understand.
