Quote
There is an F-word in the present political campaign, and it is “fascist.” Some people say, “Trump is a
fascist. Or if he’s not, he has fascist tendencies.” Others say, “Come now. He may be many things — a lout, a
nationalist, a demagogue — but he’s not a fascist. Let’s not get carried away.”

A lot of people like to dismiss the 'F' word due to its connotations with WWII Germany and Italy, but there are many examples that are much closer to being apt- one especially so is one of the left's favorite Fascists- Juan Peron.

We can see a lot of parallels with his rise to power and positions.  Hyper nationalism and populism based mostly on trade.

They say it can't happen here, not in America.   But the confluence of a seductive strongman and a corrupt and weak opponent create the conditions for disaster.

Trump is the step you don't want to take, folks.

I think the website errs in generally disallowing certain words and comparisons to be made regarding stumpy.  This article provides overwhelming evidence that those terms properly apply.  We slow the stumpy "campaign" (such as it is) to undermine our witness to the truth in restricting the use of these words in reference to lying don.

I agree with you.

There's a difference between using "Fascism" as purely an epithet, and using it in a discussion of political philosophy.  While I'd prefer not having censorship at all, I can see some justification for the former.  But blocking the latter is where we end up with problems.  If we can't discuss potential problems in our Republic, if we can't diagnose or protect against incipient diseases, how can we keep it healthy?
