Gun Shop Owner: We Warned FBI About Orlando Terrorist Weeks Before Attack

A Florida gun shop owner said that Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen tried to buy bulk ammunition and heavy-duty body armor from his shop five or six weeks ago, and that they tried to warn the FBI.

Robbie Abell, who co-owns Lotus Gunworks in South Florida, said Mateen was asking about the highest-level body armor.

Abell said the salesman knew that this was "not a question that a normal civilian would ask."

He said that when Mateen was told the store doesn't carry that product, he started texting and talking to someone on his cell phone in a Middle Eastern-sounding language.

He then asked about bulk ammunition before leaving the store empty-handed.

This is significant and of course, needs to be investigated; this also goes along with this being reported in the Daily Mail; not the same thing though.

    She sparked up a friendship with the woman she believes is Noor after noticing her 'pretty eyes'
    She saw the group for the last time on the night of June 4, when a man she believes was Mateen asked her a question about transgender people
    When she said 'God won't let them [transgendered people] into heaven', the man responded: 'Do you realize that comment just saved your life?'
    When saw Mateen's face on TV he looked familiar, but didn't connect the dots until seeing Noor's picture days later
    A manager at Pit Row said the business' surveillance video automatically erases images captured seven days earlier

Who knows? This  may be true but we may not be able to know for sure until properly investigated.

It sounds sort of conspiratorial.

When a bad incident happens, like the JFK assassination for example, all kinds of things popped out of the woodwork and people said certain things happened. Some of those leads might have been so while others were just one's imagination.
