NPR Admits Pro-Iran Group That Paid It $100K Got Lots of Free Airtime

NPR took $100K from Ploughshares which pushed the Iran nuke sellout any way that it could. NPR claims that it did nothing wrong, but admits that,
"Where I found more cause for concern — and where both Oreskes and Mohn agree that there was a breakdown, at least in internal processes and disclosure — is in the large number of Ploughshares-funded analysts and experts who made it on the air to talk up the deal, without any acknowledgment of that by NPR."
What's This?
Various excuses are given. None of them especially impressive.
The bottom line is that NPR was getting funded by Ploughshares as a vehicle for its agenda. NPR had giant conflicts of interest here as a news organization.
And if NPR had taken $100K from the fracking lobby and then run a series of pro-fracking reports, heads would be rolling. But since it's just terrorists getting nukes, it's no big deal.
