Yes.  So either we acquiesce to that, or we figure out some way of having a different choice that actually matters.... I'm fresh out of ideas, though.

My idea is to sell the house in the burbs and move everything we have to our ranch in SE Oklahoma..... go off the grid and let the King Trumpy Worshipers worry about it.  We have no debt.... and there is plenty of room to bury a bunch of mason jars...
America needs God's forgiveness....... Even if Donald Trump doesn't think he does.

Which, as it happens, will earn you at least as much interest as you can get in a bank....

Maybe more before it's over.....  the only real challenge will be remembering where I buried everything once I get old and senile.....   I mean older... and more senile.....

Yet here you are helping a Known evil aka Hillary.

I will vote against both of them, so help me God.  I'm perfectly fine with that.  I will not record a vote for either of them.  (Haven't you noticed that most of the NeverTrump folks here on TBR are taking the same position?  Can you not see that we regard Trump as utterly loathsome?  If not, why not?  [And can't you see why we despise Trump so much?  If not, why not?])

The Republic our founders gave us died quite a long time ago and the empire that replaced it is now on it's last legs as well!

Well, as a physician I would say, at the very least, that our Republic definitely seemed to acquire an insidious, fatal disease decades ago and that the Republic seems to be closing in on death very quickly indeed right now.  I mark the date of the acquisition of the sickness unto death as the day of the passage (?) of the Constitutional Amendment that made the progressive income tax possible.

With Cruz, we had a pretty good chance of abolishing the IRS once and for all.  That chance seems to have died.

(One of the Progressivist co-morbidities sealing our doom was the 17th Amendment, of course.)

BRAVO!!!  Well said!

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
