The current GOPe has no choice but to back him now since he defeated the 16 other candidates.

Trump was bragging long before he was the last one standing that he had the GOPe reaching out to him and that he could work with them.  They aren't doing this just because he's the only one left.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Actually he started saying that when word was out Cruz was on his last legs with his financiers. The writing was on the wall long before he was the only one standing. In case you forgot the issue was could Cruz still pull it off?
Trump is for America First.
"Crooked Hillary Clinton is the Secretary of the Status Quo – and wherever Hillary Clinton goes, corruption and scandal follow." D. Trump 7/11/16

Did you know that the word ‘gullible’ is not in the dictionary?

I'm talking late Feb...when there were still several people in the race.  He bragged about it on the Today Show.  That certain GOPe bigwigs were calling him.

Probably McConnell needing another donation to his SuperPac or Boehner wanting a tee time.

There is no meaningful difference between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, both are New York City liberals; it's as simple as that.  Ready for Hillary is the sole fault of those who brought us Donald Trump, not those of us who still have some principles left and will not vote for a liberal, no matter how many "R"s he sticks after his name.

You should not have nominated a liberal as the GOP contender if you wanted to win.  You were full well warned about the consequences of nominating Trump and you went ahead and did it anyway.  That's your fault and it lies on your head, not mine or any other #NeverTrump.

The GOPe is fully responsible for the Trump nomination.  Selecting Boehner and McConnell to lead them, and following them in licking democrat boots, yielding to PC, running scared when anybody pointed a finger at them and putting up only token resistance to the full liberal agenda - THOSE are the reasons Trump was nominated.  The gop failed its members, the nation and the free world by being lick-spittle cowards and liars - even now they are too stupid to understand what happened and why.

Well put, GilesB, especially for those on here who are not DNC plants.
Members of the anti-Trump cabal: Now that Mr Trump has sewn up the nomination, I want you to know I feel your pain.

So true.  Real Conservatives will not yield to PC and they will not join with liberals as Trump does.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

And another thing.  GOP thinks we owe them our vote.  As if its so cheap.  My vote isn't cheap and I am not responsible for either of the liberals that they are pushing.  So be it if either one of those disgusting candidates wins.  Can't guilt trip me.
