Hillary Clinton Panders The Black Girls Rock Awards

The “Black Girls Rock” awards ceremony is this totally not racist thing that celebrates the accomplishments of black women while excluding men and all other races. Because it “empowers” black women, social justice warriors pretend that it isn’t discriminatory or exclusionary in any way. For that very same reason, Hillary Clinton showed up to this year’s gala to pander her some rockin’ black girl votes.
The AP reports that Hillary Clinton made a surprise appearance at the Black Girls Rock! Awards ceremony in New Jersey on Friday night. It was such a surprise that she was scheduled to appear to announce the organizations founder Beverly Bond.
Old white Clinton waddled out and told the audience that her, “life has been changed by strong black women leaders.”
That’s an interesting factoid, because from the perspective of everyone who has been paying attention, Hillary hasn’t shown any interest in so-call black issues until right about the time she announced her presidential campaign last year. It’s as if she discovered that there are things black voters care about and then decided she needed to pretend to care about those things too to get the democratic nomination.
“There are still a lot of barriers holding back African Americans and black women in particular, so a gathering like this filled with so many powerful, strong women is a rebuke to every single one of those barriers,” said Clinton.
Really? What are these barriers? Hillary says stuff like this all the time but she never really explains it. To be clear, there are no laws that hold back a person because of gender, race, religion, and whatever else liberals cry about. Also, there are a ton of laws that protect people against discrimination in the workplace, housing, employment, etc…
When Hillary says this, she’s trying to give blacks an excuse for underachieving: “It’s not your fault, it’s systemic racism.” And of course if they will vote for her, Hillary is going to fix all of these racist and sexist barriers that don’t actually exist. That’s not a bad campaign promise if you think about it. The easiest problem to solve is one that you invent out of thin air.
“All of our kids, no matter what zip code they live in, deserve a good teacher and a good school, a safe community and clean water to drink,” Hillary said.
With this, Hillary is saying that black people suffer racism in the form of shitty schools and dangerous communities. Stay with me on this one, Hillary: most places with high-concentrations of black people are under democratic rule and have been for decades and generations. If the government is responsible for poor schools and unsafe conditions in these black communities, isn’t that the fault of the party that has been in charge? Doesn’t that make the democrats the racists?
This is Hillary Clinton at her pander best. She’s pretending like she’s a friend to the black community even though she hasn’t shown any interest in them through all of her years in public service. The weird thing is, she already has the black vote. They are not going to get a sudden dose of sanity and go for Republicans and they won’t even support Bernie Sanders in the democratic primaries. If black people vote, they will vote for Hillary.
That doesn’t mean the spectacle of a dumpy old white lady kissing black people’s asses isn’t funny, because it is. I can’t wait for Hillary to show up at the Black Panther “Kill Whitey” awards or the Nation of Islam “The White Man Is Satan” annual gala.
