Donald Trump, a candidate even Republicans once considered a side show, increases his lead yet again in the nomination race, according to the latest Fox News national poll.

The poll also finds Ted Cruz ticking up, Marco Rubio slipping, and Ben Carson dropping.

I suggested 2 mos ago that based on previous presidential elections Trump's performance put him on track to winning the primary.

Of course, anything can happen, but it looks like, if nothing changes, Trump has a lock on the nomination.

Anybody other than Trump and Cruz, and it doesn't matter who is in the White House, as this week proved with the Omnibus Bill.

Let's put Yebbie or Ricky Rubio there and see what happens.  McCain and Romney sure worked out well.   :silly:

Who knew the GOP electorate was such a low info crowd. What's the evidence? The rodeo clown's dominance capturing the party and America's imagination, and holding the top spot in the political polls from the day he entered the presidential race, all without possessing a scintilla of political or intellectual acumen.

I feel bad for LIVs. Trump'll fade in a few days or simply self-destruct the next time he opens his mouth. Then they'll just have to start supporting Rubio.....:silly:
