Syrian sources claim British terrorist's body in hospital

Syrian sources said Friday the body of “Jihadi John,” the leading British member of ISIS who was captured on video carrying out brutal beheadings of American and U.K. captives, is lying in a hospital.
That news comes after other media outlets reported the top U.S. target in the war on terror, also called Mohammed Emwazi, was targeted by drone strike, and believed killed.

Also on Friday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the British terrorist was definitely killed in recent U.S.-led airstrikes, along with three other terrorists, in the northern Syrian town of Raqqa, Reuters reported.

“A car carrying four foreign Islamic State leaders, including one British jihadi was hit by U.S. air strikes right after the [government] building in Raqqa city,” said Rami Abdulrahman, the director of the U.K.-based Observatory told Reuters. “All the sources there are saying that the body of an important British jihadi is lying in the hospital of Raqqa. All the sources are saying it is of Jihadi John, but I cannot confirm it personally.”
U.S. officials announced Thursday they had targeted the terrorist by drone. The Pentagon said it was still assessing the situation but a source told Fox News on Friday U.S. officials are “99 percent sure” the drone did indeed kill Jihadi John.
