The first target of Iraqi troops, backed by Shiite militias, is the town of Falluja, 50 km west of Baghdad, nearly two months after ISIS captured the Anbar capital of Ramadi. The force is composed of the Shiite Hashid Shaabi militia, Iraqi special forces, police and local Sunni Muslim tribal fighters.
