A very worthwhile post, from a fascinating source. It is from the Kurds.

The Kurds should be our allies, if we had a national government aimed at gaining victory over ISIS.

It's good to hear this kind of news for a change, good to hear people are fighting back.  It seems like all we ever hear is about the atrocities of ISIS, but we rarely hear about the victories of the people fighting them.

I'd bet that they didn't tell anybody about their plans and when they planned to do them either - that would be counterproductive, to say the least.
