School Suspends Student for Making “Terroristic Threats” w/Magic Ring

Posted By Daniel Greenfield On February 1, 2015 @ 1:35 pm In The Point | 29 Comments

If you thought suspending a student for chewing a pop tart into the shape of a gun was as bad as it got, the Educrats continue to top themselves. Forget gun control. We’re into magic ring control now.

A Kermit parent said his fourth-grade student was suspended Friday for allegedly making a terroristic threat.

His father, Jason Steward, said the family had been to see “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” last weekend. His son brought a ring to his class at Kermit Elementary School and told another boy his magic ring could make the boy disappear.

Steward said the principal said threats to another child’s safety would not be tolerated – whether magical or not. Principal Roxanne Greer declined to comment on the matter.

That’s the beautiful thing about bureaucracy, it makes no sense and is implemented by people with no common sense. Tie in rules based on hysterical panics and you have the perfect Zero  Tolerance mess.

Aiden claimed Thursday he could put a ring on his friend’s head and make him invisible like Bilbo Baggins, who stole Gollum’s “precious” in J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy series “The Lord of the Rings.”

“I assure you my son lacks the magical powers necessary to threaten his friend’s existence,” the boy’s father later wrote in an email. “If he did, I’m sure he’d bring him right back.”

I suppose now we’ll have to take away magic rings from everyone. Maybe Bloomberg can start a campaign.

Gun control advocates decided to terrorize students in order to use them as human shields, in the process promoting the very school shootings they claimed to want to prevent. We now have schools acting like this is the Cold War with “prepare to die” drills all so that the Democrats can push forward an agenda to ban guns for reasons that have nothing to do with shootings.

The hysteria of zero tolerance has percolated so far down that just about anything counts as a teroristic threat. Students get suspended for just about anything. The beatings will continue until the country gives in and takes apart the Bill of Rights.

And all this is a preview of what the country will look when it does.

I send the Super. of schools all these kinds of articles to show him the stupid stuff going on in hopes he will head them off before they happen.  Contacts with super. will get his/her attention as they are very gun shy about negative activities.

It wasn't even a threat.  He was just saying he could make his friend be invisible, not non-existent.

Morons...

You see it that way because you aren't a liberal which the principal obviously is.
