Former Teacher Angela Box Fires Back At PC Police By Suing Black Panthers

By V. Saxena, January 9, 2015.

Last month, Brian Carey reported that Texas public school teacher Angela Box had been forced to resign because of satirical comments she made about President Obama and Muslims.

She appeared on a local political show, Tommy’s Garage (yes, that Tommy’s Garage) and joked: “Can’t Ebola just take one for the team and take out Obama?”

. . . She also said the following: “Every normal human being in the world knows that goat-fu**ing Muslims and, oh, boy-fu**ing Muslims, are the evil of the world.”

Once these statements went public, people started calling her a racist even though neither of those statements has anything to do with race.

She also referred to Muslims as “bacon-haters.”

All this became known to the general public when community activist and leader of the New Black Panther Nation, Quanell X, started making a fuss:

Quanell X accused Box of making racist and offensive comments aimed at practicing Muslims on that show. He has also questioned whether her views were influencing her students.  Box denied making any comments that were intentionally hateful.

A press release was sent out claiming Box referred to President Barack Obama as “a [expletive] [N-word] and black people dumb ass for voting for him.” Quanell X expressed concern because Box was still in the classroom teaching black children.

FYI, according to the Houston Press, Angela Box NEVER used the N-word. In fact, Quanell admitted that his “publicist [had] made a mistake.”

Fast forward to this week, when Box filed a defamation suit against Quanell X, the New Black Panther Nation and the New Black Muslim Movement:

Box’s lawsuit claims the “malicious and defamatory statements and the press conference at Plaintiff’s school – in front of her third grade students – created a hostile work environment and left Plaintiff no choice but to end her employment as a teacher.” In her lawsuit, Box laments that she “will likely never be able to find employment as an educator again.”

Box has also set up a GoFundMe page to pay for the legal fees associated with the case. On the page, she argues for her freedom of speech.

Here’s my question: Does Angela Box have a point, or is she no different than Vinita Hegwood?

I hope she has armed guards covering her back or she might have a fatal "accident" for taking on the panthers.
