Why not Berlin?

Normally, I would have posted this under Member forum but I wasn't sure, so I put it here.  Mod, please move if necessary.
Anyway, while thinking about the islamic terrorism in France today and back over the years and it occured to me, I don't believe Berlin has been a target.  No news of broken up plans.
If I'm mistaken, please let me know.

This weeks events just fed the movement all across Europe, to stop immigration from Islamic locations.

I certainly support that position. The majority of muslims worldwide must be made to realize they are not wanted anywhere, due to their bad behavior. And made to know we will never, ever give up.

Germany has a growing movement. Ich bin ein Berliner.

We are also all French, this week.

I recall American soldiers being targeted by Islamic terrorist in Germany many years ago. I believe there were several soldiers who were killed. If anyone has a better recollection please correct me.

Yeah, I think it was a disco in Berlin maybe?  That was prior to 9/11, I think.

Yep, a discotheque in Berlin. I just can't place the year, much less the decade. (Sucks getting old).
