Dumbass Judge Laura Johnson Releases Yet Another Violent Gang Banger

Two days ago, I introduced you to Brooklyn Criminal Court Judge Laura Johnson and explained how she let loose a known gang banger who had used Facebook to issue a threat against the NYPD. Believe it or not, but according to the New York Post, the dumbass judge has done it yet again:
On Tuesday night, Johnson released Travis Maye, 26, without bail following his arrest in a violent melee with cops earlier that day.
According to court records, Maye took swings at cops at Flatbush Avenue and Prospect Place at around 1:35 a.m., socking one officer in the eye and sending him to the hospital.
After being pepper-sprayed, stunned with a Taser and put in handcuffs, Maye, 26, ranted at the cops that he would “find out where you live” and “get you,” court papers say.
“You will die!” he allegedly ranted.
Yet Judge Laura Johnson saw it fit to release this violent gang banger back onto the streets without issuing any bail. This despite the fact that the court administrator had admonished her the night before for exercising poor judgment in the case of gang banger Devon Coley. It truly boggles my mind!
The good news is that Judge Laura John’s term on the bench expires next Wednesday. The bad news is that NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio has the power to renew her contract. Given what I know about the comrade, I honest to God expect him to do just that.
The last thing to know is that according to CNN, seven NYC residents were arrested earlier today “in connection with alleged threats made toward police officers since” last weekend, when two NYPD officers were brutally murdered. God willing, they won’t wind up in Judge Laura Johnson’s courtroom, because we all know what would happen if they did . . .
