How far has The Won ("I won; I will trump you on that") fallen?
In 2008, President Obama had Oprah Winfrey campaigning for him.
In 2014, he is reduced to having support from Kim Kardashian Thomas Humphries West.
Well, Rush Limbaugh does call him President Kardashian.
Judy Kurtz at The Hill pointed out Obama has mocked Kardashian in the past:
Obama once famously called Kardashian’s now-husband, rapper Kanye West, a “jackass” in a 2009 sit-down. Kardashian, who wed West in a lavish ceremony earlier this year, criticized Obama for the remark, reportedly telling Britain’s GQ magazine last month, “I don’t think it’s very appropriate for the president of the United States to be commenting on pop culture.”
Hey, guess what? For once I agree with her.
KITV in Hawaii reported:
Kardashian isn't entirely a stranger to Democratic politics. Earlier this year she endorsed spiritual guru Marianne Williamson in the primary to replace retiring Rep. Henry Waxman in California's 33rd Congressional District.
Marianne Williamson finished 4th out of 16 in the primary.
John Hinderacker at Power Line went there, posting: "The Democrats Bring Out Their Biggest Gun."
Well, they are 38s.
CNN, which made sure to post a picture of her exposed chest, used the third-party-strawman to question her political savvy: "The image prompted some on social media to question whether Kardashian was confused about which elections are happening Tuesday."
But her Tweet showed she quite a lot of awareness. She knows the election is a referendum on Obama, which is why she is standing by him.
Sheesh. Just because a woman looks good doesn't mean she is stupid. In fact, transforming a thin connection to the O.J. Simpson trial into a multi-million-dollar celebrity empire in 20 years is quite an accomplishment.
More than President Kardashian has done.
