The Indiana National Guardsman arrested after an Ohio state trooper pulled him over for speeding and found 48 bombs and four guns in his car was carrying quite a bit more than that.
According to The Columbus Dispatch, Madison County Prosecutor Stephen Pronai said that Andrew Scott Boguslawski also was found with:
- blueprints for a Navy SEAL training facility
- a remote-control device to detonate the bombs
- material to make more explosives
- a bulletproof vest
“He said something to the trooper about making a bomb vest,” Pronai said..
Lt. Col. Cathy Van Bree, a spokeswoman for the Indiana National Guard, told the Dispatch that Boguslawski, 43, is a specialist who does intelligence analysis and has top-secret clearance.
Boguslawski works as a groundskeeper at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in south-central Indiana. While the training center offers its facilities to special-ops forces and other military personnel, prosecutors could not say definitively Wednesday if the blueprints found in Boguslawski’s car were for the facility, the Dispatch said.
