I generally support the things Sanders says I support.
Privatize Social Security? Yes. Eliminate Medicare? Not practical, but definitely means test benefits. Medicare is the single biggest mechanism for wealth transfer from the poor to the rich in this country. It relieves the oldest (and richest by virtue of the fact that over 75 percent of the nation's wealth is held by people over 60 years of age) Americans from having to spend their accumulated wealth on the single most expensive thing in their lives. Anyone who is truly concerned about the shrinking middle class and the rich getting richer should take a look at the economic effects of Medicare on wealth distribution. And yet, liberals consistently oppose means testing Medicare. What else? Eliminate the Departments of Energy and Education? Definitely. Eliminate the minimum wage? God, yes! The minimum wage has removed the lowest rungs on the ladder and retarded the possibility for upward mobility for millions of people.
So, pretty much, Bernie is right about me. But he's the one who is "dangerous," not me. He and his buddies have turned this country into a corporate/socialist cesspool of corruption.
