US Border Patrol: 5 arrested by Sault Ste. Marie agent in Kingsford for entering country illegally

KINGSFORD, Mich. (WLUC) - The US Border Patrol Detroit Sector says that they arrested five individuals in Kingsford who had entered the country illegally.
In a post to its Facebook page, Border Patrol said a Sault Ste. Marie Station Agent made the arrest on July 30.
The agency said the five individuals are from Nicaragua and Mexico and have combined criminal histories that include a warrant for resisting an officer, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a controlled substance and driving without a valid license.
Two of those arrested are being charged with felony re-entry and all five are to be deported.
