Fauci Summoned
« on: Wednesday, Jul 15, 2026 03:14 am »
The Post & Email by James Lyons-Weiler, PhD, Popular Rationalism 7/14/2026

The question is whether America’s most powerful health official used one evidentiary standard for claims that protected his institution—and another for claims that threatened it.

July 29 is Anthony Fauci’s Day is Fauci’s Day of Reckoning. Fauci is returning to Congress under subpoena. The central question is no longer whether every dissenting COVID hypothesis was correct. It is whether the country’s most powerful health official used one evidentiary standard for claims that protected his institution—and another for claims that threatened it. We should start a pool on how many times Fauci will “fail to recall”.

On June 29, Senator Rand Paul made an announcement that would have been almost unthinkable at the height of Anthony Fauci’s power. “Dr. Fauci backed out of voluntary testimony, so I issued a subpoena,” Paul wrote. “He will testify on July 29. Accountability is coming.” On July 13, Paul supplied the hour: 10:00 a.m., in public, before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

As of this writing, the committee’s hearing page has not yet posted a formal notice for July 29. The committee chairman has publicly announced the date, time, witness, subpoena, and subject. Fauci has been summoned.

This will be described as a fight about the “lab leak.” That description is too small. SARS-CoV-2 may have entered humans through a research-related accident, or through a natural spillover that has still not been demonstrated by an intermediate host. The precise origin remains unresolved. The evidentiary case against Fauci does not require pretending otherwise.

This is a mind blowing file dump. Appears to be hundreds of pages of correspondence within NIH and HHS about getting Fauci many paid awards. ...

The lab leak argument is a distraction. The narrative persists in insisting that they don't know where the virus invented in Chapel Hill came from, nor how it was shipped with two of the researchers (who were from the Wuhan Institute of Virology) to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

That the timing of the release (accidental or intentional) and media complicity in raising panic, the actions taken with regard to putting contagious patients into nursing homes, where the population commonly possessed three or more comorbidities making them likely to die of COVID, in facilities which had no isolation protocols or facilities, the outright rejection of possible treatments in the face of keeping the Emergency Use Authorization for injections which only qualified as vaccines because the definition of "vaccine" was changed, that the recommended lockdowns were economically devastating, and set the stage for voting with no means to track and verify the legitimacy of ballots, all supported by media selling panic and leading to what can only be described as Mass Formation Psychosis toward those who refused the shots and wanted to conduct business normally.
All of this, in concert, by coincidence or design, led to the Biden Administration and the downright destructive policies thereof, which possibly may have been influenced by none other than China. Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Fauci's diary entry for May 21, 2020 is one of the most grotesque documents you will ever read. It opens with the mounting Covid death toll and people dying across the country, then abruptly pivots into an extended exercise in self-congratulation about his newfound fame. How was someone so profoundly narcissistic ever allowed to accumulate so much power and rise so high? Completely unreal.

I hope they carefully drew the pentacle and protective charms for the summoning, that is one dangerous demon, not one of Satan's lesser quizlings.

Fauci's diary and the emails that have been released are just amazing.

Anthony Fauci destroyed records. He told others to delete emails. And then he told them to delete them from deleted files.

If he appears, testifies under oath and lies, even a real Pardon won't protect him from prosecution.

I'm not an attorney but can't civil suits be filed against him??

@DB Good to see you

That's interesting but I am sure he would fight any/every extradition attempt and as an American citizen would our government protect him?

Every new revelation from the Fauci diary and his emails is just stunning, even though we already were pretty sure he was an egotistical incompetent. He spent more time writing Dear Diary and boosting his celebrity with magazine covers and talk shows than focusing on the supposed public health crisis. Oh, yeah, and he tried to run the country, despite the presence of an actual, you know, President.

Fauci Toadies Privately Called Lab Leak Theory ‘Highly Likely’ While Publicly Shutting It Down

By: Hans Mahncke
July 27, 2026

The greatest threat to public trust comes when powerful people and institutions use their authority to suppress the truth.

The latest revelations from Sen. Rand Paul’s investigation into the origin of Covid expose what may be one of the most consequential scientific deceptions in history.

The 1,123 pages of private Slack messages exchanged among the authors of the highly influential “Proximal Origin” paper reveal that the scientists who publicly declared that a laboratory origin of Covid was not plausible privately held a very different view. They repeatedly acknowledged that a laboratory origin remained possible, discussed flaws in their own arguments, and struggled to defend the natural origin theory.

In the first batch of Slack messages between the authors, which was released by the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2023, Kristian Andersen of Scripps Research, the lead author of “Proximal Origin,” privately described the possibility of a laboratory origin as “friggin’ likely.” In another exchange, he wrote, “The main issue is that accidental escape is in fact highly likely — it’s not some fringe theory,” and elsewhere another author acknowledged that Covid “easily could have” leaked from a laboratory. Yet only weeks later, on March 17, 2020, they published “Proximal Origin,” declaring that a laboratory-based scenario was not plausible.

When those earlier messages became public, Andersen offered a simple explanation. He argued that his initial doubts had been resolved before publication and that the messages merely reflected a normal scientific process of considering possibilities before reaching a conclusion.

The latest Slack disclosures completely destroy that claim.
