Babies born to "invaders" soon could be excluded from the birthright citizenship the 14th Amendment grants, according to a legislative proposal to address the problem raised by President Donald Trump in his executive order on the dispute.

It is U.S. Sen. Jim Banks, R-Ind., who has introduced a plan that would address the Supreme Court's decision that literally anyone in the world can claim U.S. citizenship and all its benefits for their newborn if that baby is born on American soil.

That has sparked a massive birth-tourism industry and created tens of thousands of U.S. "citizens" who are not living in the U.S., have no loyalty to the U.S., but still claim all the benefits of citizenship.

Banks has proposed a plan that would codify Trump's 2025 order, declaring illegal immigration across the southern border an "invasion" and adjust the Immigration and Nationality Act to exclude children of those "invaders."

The legislative solution follows a plan outlined by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in the court's ruling just weeks ago.
