Michigan Democrat Donor Hit with 16 Felony Charges Over $20 Million Taxpayer-Funded Corruption Scheme

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced 16 felony charges Wednesday against Democrat donor Fay Beydoun, accusing her of operating what prosecutors described as a criminal enterprise that allegedly diverted millions in taxpayer-funded grant money for personal enrichment.
According to investigators, Beydoun’s company received an initial $10 million payment in April 2023 from a controversial $20 million state grant program.
The program was supposedly intended to boost economic development and attract business activity to Michigan.
Instead, prosecutors allege the money was funneled into luxury purchases, personal expenses, inflated salaries, and fraudulent reporting schemes.
