Democrat Party...the Party of Infanticide

"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience"

Go JD!!!!  I love this guy.  He truly has a way with words and the ability to put people in their place.
Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

The trouble is that any version of America First that doesn't see that there are outcomes to foreign conflicts that are not in America's interest (e.g. Putin being able to reassemble the Soviet Union or Russian Empire, take your pick) that are can be prevented by America taking a side in the conflict, is that will not place America first in anything other than the estimation adherents of that misbegotten conception of national interest.

If we can get rid of the not-invented-here expression of excessive American self-regard that naive "America First" policies of Vance's sort also express, we could even steal a march on the Chinese by supporting Ukraine, going into joint production of their battle-tested UAV, UGV and UNV technologies, and copying their military development and procurement cycle.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

There is a vast difference between short term and long term "best interests". And we also what will do the most good for the most people in both the short and long term.
In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.-Woody Allen
If God invented marathons to keep people from doing anything more stupid, the triathlon must have taken him completely by surprise.

If anyone in our federal government were truly "America First", the Marxist income tax system we currently abide would be history before the end of the month!

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
